Welcome to Ballast & Steel. By purchasing from our store or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please review them carefully.

1. General Information

Ballast & Steel operates an online store offering custom‑printed apparel and accessories. All products are made‑to‑order using print‑on‑demand services.

By purchasing from us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are using the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. Made‑to‑Order Products

All Ballast & Steel products are custom‑printed for each order.

  • No stock items: We do not maintain inventory.

  • Production Variations: Slight variations in color, placement, and print quality may occur and are considered normal for print‑on‑demand production.

3. Orders & Cancellations

  • Processing: Orders begin production as soon as they are placed.

  • Cancellations: Orders can only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase. After this window, production will have started, and cancellations will not be accepted.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Production Time: Most orders are produced within 3–7 business days.

  • Shipping: Delivery times vary based on location. Estimated delivery dates are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.

  • Lost/Delayed Packages: If your package does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact us at ballastandsteel@gmail.com. We will assist in tracking or replacing the order where appropriate.

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

In summary:

  • Returns/exchanges for reasons such as wrong size, color preference, or change of mind have a 15-day window please see our return policy for details. 

  • 15‑day window for reporting damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

  • Approved claims may be eligible for a replacement or refund at our discretion.

6. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in CAD or USD and are subject to change without notice.
We accept payment through Shopify‑approved methods. Orders will not be processed until payment is received in full.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and product designs — is the property of Ballast & Steel and may not be used, copied, or distributed without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Ballast & Steel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, shipping delays, or third‑party service failures.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total purchase price of the order in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Alberta.
